Irony and Other Annoyances
Prev May 20, 2008 Next | Here I am on the verge of summer (having survived not getting sick all winter) with a nasty sore throat and fever. Granted, I did have tons of running around last week that pushed me to my limits, but I can't help but feel annoyed by this turn of events. I try to take such good care of myself by excercising and eating well. I don't abuse myself in the usual ways that humans do.
I guess I shouldn't be too upset. Afterall, stress is not good for a cold and my sore throat is actually already subsiding thanks to my herbal supplements and fruit and vegetable juices. Someon told me that he fasts altogether when he fees a cold coming on, but I need to have some sort of sustenance to make it through the day.
My weekend was pretty uneventful. I had a girl pull a no-show on Saturday, but I wasn't thrilled about working with her anyway, so there was no love lost. I just continued working on updating my studio (looking good!) and working with my webguy on my newest website. I did manage to get a little shopping in and grab dinner, but otherwise, a pretty quiet few days.
Well, I have to go run some errands before my fever acts up again. Wish me the best of health and I'll talk to you all soon.
